The San Borja Arriarán Clinical Hospital inaugurated the first and only MRI of the Central Metropolitan Health Service (SSMC) network. With this milestone, patients from some of the main metropolitan districts (Santiago, Estación Central, Maipú and Cerrillos) will have access to this modern technology in the public system. This equipment allows obtaining high resolution images from electromagnetic fields that interact with the fluids of the human body, and will support most of the specialties that the HCSBA has, for example, those related to Neurology, Traumatology, Rheumatology, Cardiology, Gynecology, Surgery, among others.
